"So did you actually finished your novel for NaNo this year, right?"

I don't wanna talk about it.

But I haven't written in a while so I'll sum up the story here because I wanna write at least something about it.

"Swing Batter, Swing." Our main character Drake is a college guy who used to love baseball. But one day he screwed up big time at an important game and was scarred for life. (And yes I know how cliche that is.) So he stopped playing the game. Now he lives a quiet college life. He takes the bus each day to school from his apartment and always sits next to a 9 year old kid. They rarely talk and stuff.

Anyway, something happens and Drake and the boy start to talk to one another. After mysterious events occur (aka I have no idea what yet) Drake is forced to take the boy under his care after he discovers the boy is homeless. Which makes no sense. Where was the boy staying all this time? It's really confusing and somehow the boy doesn't even know.

As time goes by Drake notices really strange things happen and eventually discovers this young boy has the power to control the universe, but he doesn't seem to be aware of it. And worst of all, life hasn't been nice to the boy and he's getting fed up with what life is giving him. After some "mysterious" close calls, Drake realizes he has to take care of the boy and help him enjoy his life, else the universe and everything in it will be utterly annihilated oh nooooooo. So they go on adventures and stuff.

The grand finale is when the boys life takes a turn for the worse when a large argument takes place between the two about Drakes past and baseball and things like that. And a world emergency announcement is made. A meteor is heading directly for earth. (THIS IS TOTALLY AN ORIGINAL IDEA I PROMISE) Anyway, Drake figures he's failed at taking care of the kid and the price was the death of the world. But after strange things happen, he finally finds himself in the city baseball park, lined up on home plate with a baseball bat. As he looks up to the sky he see's the incoming meteor come towards him from the distance. He realizes what is happening and has an internal battle with himself as he realizes it wasn't chance that brought him to the baseball field. And finally, he gathers up the courage and swings that bat.

At the moment he swings, the meteor crashes down upon him. But somehow, it's the perfect swing. The bat shatters the meteor into a billion pieces, saving the city and the world.

That's about it, really. I wanted it to get complex and add in some weird details about how the universe had actually been destroyed thousands of times already and somehow time was looping three days thousands of times, resulting in a three day period repeating for hundreds of years.. (There were going to be a couple people who were aware of it but I wasn't sure how to add them in.)

That's the story. Maybe I'll properly write it someday. yeah right
