The Latest
The sun has finally arrived, and I'm starting to actually be productive!
I've started in on one of my biggest projects yet. A home server I've since dubbed, "Big Boy." It's a home built $1500 hunk of a computer that's gonna be my work partner for hopefully many years to come. With it, I'll be able to manage my ever growing media collection of music, movies, tv shows, games, etc. I'll also be able to dig in and learn about running a server in a home environment and how a network should function. Did I really need to spend so much money on it? Nah. But it should be built to last. I'm currently waiting on one last part to arrive tomorrow. Once it's here, building can begin. I think I'll try to document my building process and post it here later.
On top of that, I'm trying to get myself to be on top of things more. I've always been trying to work myself towards a healthy and active lifestyle, but being a lazy dude tends to hold me back. But I'm finally starting to change, be it ever so slowly. For one thing, I'm actually writing this, which is a good start. I'm also back into school, which I've mentioned in a previous post. I think there's a multitude of reasons behind this sudden change. One, the sun is out. Now that I'm out of my custodian job, I actually have time to be out and about in the sun, which feels amazing to do. Even when I'm in class or running errands, its feels great. And I think this is the happiest I've been in a long while.
Another thing of note is that I recently watched what I may consider to be my favorite movie of all time;My first 10 outta 10 reviewed film. A lovely animated movie called, "A Silent Voice." I don't think I'll write much about it here, but I think I might write a review on it in a separate post. It's also got an amazing, minimalist soundtrack as well. I've found myself listening to it more and more lately. The whole album is perfect for studying. It's one I'll definitely listen to for a long ways to come.
That's all I've got for now. I'm glad I got myself to write on here again. Hopefully I'll post some more things soon. Not too soon, but eventually. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
